Terah Chesbro
Director of Clinical Services
I come to my role at The Balanced Brain as a dedicated health researcher, bio-hacker and mother of two with a life-long interest in nutritive therapy and wholistic mental health care. My passion for guiding clients toward restored balance and optimized brain functionality grew out of my own decades of health and learning struggles.
Using neurofeedback training for myself, I have overcome the brain related results of years of chronic infections, allergies and IBS, that included memory, focus and attention issues (ADHD) as well as anxiety, stress and life disrupting emotional dysregulation. These were so severe in my earlier life, I was not able to complete previous life goals, which since, I have succeeded at in mental health care/nutrition education.

Terah Chesbro
Director of Clinical Services
As Director of Clinical Services, my primary responsibility is the qEEG analysis of client’s brainwaves to develop an individualized neurofeedback training plan based on the information I gather during our extensive intake process, including EEG Data (using the KNET/SKIL Database), symptom rating scale, sleep habitry, nutrition & hydration history and even their current meditative experience. I keep up to date on the literature of neuroscience and brain wave analysis and count among my mentors and advisors: Dr David Kaiser, Jay Gunkelman, Joy Lunt, and Sue and Siegfried Othmer.
I believe neurofeedback brain training is an essential part of a wholistic approach to mental and emotional well-being. I understand that the gut and brain are intricately interconnected, and I follow and coach clients from a brain health focused, ancestral nutrition perspective.
I direct our team of neurofeedback trainers in the work with clients drawing on my knowledge of both classical qEEG neurofeedback and Infra-Low Frequency methods.
My sincere desire is to provide clients a path to relief from ADHD, Anxiety, Stress, and mental/emotional dysregulation while helping to improve sleep, memory, educational performance and neuroplasticity; ultimately to engage with a vibrant life!
